Home at last for the children of the mist: The 600 year return of Clan MacGregor
Home at last for the children of the mist: The MacGregor clan has been gathering for the reinstatement of the Dalmally Stones, 600 year old burial stones of the clan's ancient chiefs. They've been restored and placed within dalmally church - much of the costs covered by clan members from around the world. At the same time, there's been a long running DNA project and, perhaps of most interest, archaeological work which it's now thought is the first proper settlement to be identified to almost certainly be connected to the macgregors - a major find (although there's not a lot to see) and all v. exciting for the clan members.
