Aberdeen chairman Dave Cormack has criticised the SPFL over their decision not to implement a 50/50 split of tickets for the League Cup final against Rangers.
The Pittodrie side had asked SPFL chiefs for an equal allocation but have instead ended up with around 19,000 tickets compared to the Ibrox club's 25,000.
Aberdeen boss Barry Robson had already expressed his disappointment at the decision and now Dons chief Cormack has echoed those sentiments.
Writing on the social media platform X, he said: "Just under six weeks and Alan Burrows requested time to sell half the stadium which we believed was fair for a 'neutral' venue.
"We don’t sell them… they go to Rangers. Also asked SPFL to draw for the end of the stadium each team gets to no avail.
"Surely fair requests for any team." Aberdeen had previously released a statement claiming the governing body had told them there were operational challenges in offering a 50/50 split.

A SPFL spokesperson said: "Deciding ticketing allocations for cup finals is always a challenging task, as more fans invariably want to attend than the stadium can accommodate.
“We take a range of factors into consideration, including the number of tickets each club sells in the Semi-Finals, as well as their historic ticket sales in any previous League Cup Finals and Semi-Finals.
“In addition, the design of the stadium and its ability to split sections is a major factor which influences our decisions, together with input from safety and security authorities to ensure fan safety and appropriate segregation.”
