Chris Sutton has fired back at Celtic critics from their defeat to Borussia Dortmund last month as the Hoops secured a statement win over RB Leipzig in the Champions League last night.
Brendan Rodgers’ side – and Scottish football as a whole – were blasted in the wake of the Dortmund defeat on matchday two, with many questioning whether the Scottish champions could cut it in Europe.

But the Hoops appear to have learned their lessons, earning a hard-fought point away to Atalanta before coming from behind last night to claim a monumental 3-1 victory over RB Leipzig at Celtic Park.
Former Celtic striker and pundit Chris Sutton was quick to hit back at Celtic's critics on social media this morning. He said: “We have not heard from those people putting the boot into Celtic and Scottish football after Dortmund...”

Goals from Nicolas Kuhn and Reo Hatate completed the comeback to earn the Hoops their second European win of the season.
Celtic have picked up seven points from a possible 12 during their opening four games.
