Thomas Tuchel is expected to be appointed as the new manager of the England national team.
Following successful negotiations, both parties have reached an agreement, and a formal contract signing is expected soon.
That's according to multiple reports on Tuesday evening, which claim an official announcement is anticipated as early as Wednesday, marking the dawn of a new era for the Three Lions.
Tuchel, who expressed his interest in the England role back in July, has now secured the position after months of speculation and discussions whilst Lee Carsley took the reins on an interim basis.
Many thought Under-21s boss, Carsley, may have been a suitable candidate. However, England were beaten by Greece in the UEFA Nations League last Thursday under his leadership and there's been a growing sense since that the FA was likely to look elsewhere.
Tuchel's imminent appointment comes at a crucial time for England, who aim to build on their recent achievements - notably finishing runners-up at Euro 2024, and make a significant impact in the upcoming international tournaments.

The 51-year-old German, who has been without a club since departing Bayern Munich at the conclusion of last season, is set to replace Gareth Southgate in the Wembley hot seat.
FA chief executive Mark Bullingham and technical director John McDermott have been in talks with Tuchel since last month, leading to this pivotal decision.
Notably, he will make history as England's first manager born in Germany, adding an intriguing chapter to the national team's coaching legacy.
Sky Germany state that an 18-month contract has been agreed.
