Partick Thistle are releasing a special ‘one off’ fourth kit this season that includes the names of supporters inscribed upon it – but fans must act quickly if they want to get their hands on one.
The Jags Foundation (TJF), the club’s supporters’ group, are encouraging fans to sign up to the group by Friday 4 October to ensure their names are included on the strip. Only TJF members’ names will be emblazoned on the red-and-yellow striped shirt, and the commemorative kit will only be available to TJF members to purchase.
TJF say that they have been given special dispensation from the SPFL and SWPL for the men’s and women’s teams to each wear the fourth kit during a competitive game this season. Kris Doolan’s side will wear it at home to Dunfermline on Saturday 4 January, while Brian Graham’s women’s side will adorn the strip for their home fixture against Dundee United on Sunday 26 January.
The shirt – which features red and yellow stripes in a traditional style – will be produced by kit sponsor O’Neill’s, but will not include any additional advertising or sponsorship.

All orders must be placed by the Friday 4 October deadline, and the kits will be ready to collect from Firhill on the week beginning Monday 9 December. An adult shirt costs £55, while kids’ tops are available for £45.
TJF say that the release of the commemorative shirt ‘is a big set piece in TJF’s fundraising, and will help us not just to deliver our pledge to the club in 2024-25, but to beat it for a second year running’.
The supporters’ group outlined their gratitude to the club’s sponsors – Clydebuilt, Indie Semiconductor, PZ Tiling and Maintenance and Forrest Precision Engineering – for ‘waiving their rights to have their logos on the shirt, as well as to women’s team shirt sponsors MAS Electrical and Security Systems and Spectrum Wealth’, adding a ‘big thank you to the club’s official retail partner Greaves Sports for allowing us to launch this strip’.

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
