This season, the Champions League combined prize pool sits at €2.467bn - meaning Celtic have the opportunity to rake in huge winnings in the European competition.
Brendan Rodgers' side enter the competition tonight in the revamped league phase where they will play eight matches to determine whether they'll advance into the knockout rounds.
Already, Celtic have banked €18.62m (£15.7m) simply from being involved in the league phase of the Champions League.
However, they could add another€2.1m to that prize money with a win against Slovan Bratislava in their opening fixture.
Clubs can earn performance-related bonuses with wins or draws in the league phase.

A win would see Celtic pocket another €2.1m (£1.77m) with €700k (£590k) to be earned for every draw at this stage of the Champions League.
Beyond per-match win or draw fees, Celtic will also be guaranteed another payment from UEFA of €275k (£232k) minimum. The club finishing 36th in the league phase will earn that figure with another €275k added for every position higher in the table after all eight matches.

League phase participation - €18.62m (€17.87m down-payment and €750k balance).
Performance bonuses - €2.1m per win, €700k per draw.
League ranking bonus - Each club will earn at least €275k for their league phase campaign - for every position above 36th, another €275k will be added to the bonus.
Furthermore, clubs ranked 1-8 at the end of the league phase will receive an additional €2m with clubs 9th to 16th pocketing €1m.
Progression bonuses - qualification for the knockout round play-offs: €1m per club
− qualification for the round of 16: €11m per club
− qualification for the quarter-finals: €12.5m per club
− qualification for the semi-finals: €15m per club
− qualification for the final: €18.5m per club
- competition winners receive an additional€6.5m.
