Jesse Marsch has sought to calm Celtic supporters regarding Alistair Johnston's injury situation.
The 25-year-old exited the field during Canada’s 2-1 friendly win over the USA on Saturday, with initial reports suggesting the withdrawal 25 minutes into the clash at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City "didn't look great".
As Brendan Rodgers’ team gears up to host Heart of Midlothian next weekend, they aim to keep their perfect record in the Scottish Premiership intact.
Celtic recorded a 3-0 victory over Rangers prior to the international break, which has put them five points clear in the race for the title, and Rodgers will be praying that he can call on his first choice right-back throughout what's set to be a busy schedule this season.

“He said he felt a little bit of tightness in his hamstring," Marsch explained as he provided an update on Johnston's condition.
"He just felt it was smarter to step out. He did that, if you go back to the Holland (June 6) game, he felt a little bit of tightness. He knows his body, and from that game he was able to recover and play against France. So, let’s hope it’ll be a similar type of situation.
“I’m hopeful that Alistair will be ok."
Canada are due to face Mexico at AT&T Stadium in Texas on Wednesday before players return to their domestic club's.
