This is the moment Leon Balogun fronted up to fan fury as he stopped to speak with Rangers supporters after the derby defeat to Celtic.

Philippe Clement's side were beaten 3-0 at Parkhead on Sunday leaving them five points off the pace in the Scottish Premiership.

After the fixture, players were taken back to Ibrox on the team bus where supporters had gathered outside the main entrance.

Footage on social media site X, formerly Twitter, has been shared showing Balogun in discussions with frustrated supporters.

The centre-back is seen speaking with a handful of supporters before heading into the stadium after the loss.

And while fans were furious over the nature of the loss, Balogun was praised for being the only players to speak to supporters waiting at Ibrox.

The short clip posted on X, claimed Balogun was the only Rangers player who did not head straight inside to avoid the wrath of the fans and instead faced up to angry supporters.

And Balogun even ended up heading into the stadium to applause as a mark of respect after he stopped to listen to supporters.

A voice in the clip can be heard saying: "He's the only one here coming and talking to us.

Another then added: "Respect Balogun. Well done for standing and talking to the fans. Respect big man."

Balogun had been on the bench for the match but came on late in the second half.
