Following a triumphant season with Celtic, where he played a key role in securing a Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup double, former England goalkeeper Joe Hart is set to take on a new challenge.
After hanging up his gloves this summer, the 37-year-old will now become a studio pundit for Match of the Day throughout the 2024/25 season.
Hart earned 75 caps for the England national team and was part of BBC Sport's coverage during his country's run to the Euro 2024 final this summer.
With 340 appearances in the English Premier League and a legacy that includes two league titles, an FA Cup, and two League Cups with Manchester City, Hart is poised to bring valuable insights and experience to his new role in sports commentary.

“I’m very excited, very proud, and looking forward to growing into an incredible role on something that I grew up watching," Hart said about joining the world's most iconic football highlights show.
"I want to try and give back as much as I can from the career I’ve had and keep learning.
"I’m thrilled to be in an around an incredible set up, learning first and foremost in a new part of my life.
"Match of the Day has stood the test of time.
"It’s never stood still. It’s always trying to grow and always trying to build, and always trying to bring the game to its viewers in any way it can."
