St Johnstone starlet Callan Hamill has rejected approaches by both Rangers and Celtic in favour of a move to Arsenal.
The 15-year-old has plenty of options on the table as he approaches his 16th birthday next March when he will be able to sign professional terms.
Hamill is a Scotland youth international and is widely viewed as one of the top talents in his age group.
He's been intermittently training with Arsenal in recent times, with Jack Wilshere, the club's academy manager, impressed by the defender.
Both of Glasgow's big two had shown a strong interest in the teenager.
However, it's understood the youngster has his heart set on a move to the Premier League giants.
In the meantime, he will remain at St Johnstone for the season ahead, before making the move to London next summer after he's turned 16.
Other English teams also hold an interest in the teen, but the Gunners are viewed as firm favourites to sign Hamill.
Saints will receive around £110,000 in cross-border compensation when the move goes through.
Had Hamill chosen to remain in Scotland, then the Perth side would've only been due £33,000.
