Philippe Clement singled out Rangers' summer signings for their role in the 2-1 Scottish Premiership win over Motherwell.
The Light Blues got their first match at Hampden Park off to a flier by overcoming a stubborn opponent. Cyriel Dessers put Rangers ahead on 13 minutes before debutant Robin Propper diverted the ball into his own net to give Motherwell a lifeline shortly after.
But it was on-loan Wolfsburg winger, Vaclav Cerny, who proved to be the difference. The 26-year-old confidently fired beyond Aston Oxborough midway through the first half to restore Rangers' advantage.
Clement's men had multiple opportunities to put the game to bed throughout the second 45, yet the Glasgow giants still had the majority of the 48,529 crowd on edge at times.
Ultimately, Cerny's strike was enough to hand Rangers a valuable victory at their temporary home - and his manager was eager to highlight the display of three new recruits following the full-time whistle.
"I think it's well-deserved," said Clement, after securing his teams first three points of the league season.
"We wanted to give the fans on our first time here a really good afternoon and to score more goals. So, we had enough chances for that, a few good saves and shots blocked. But I think it was a really positive game.

Vaclav Cerny the standout as Rangers win despite Propper own goal
"From the first minute we took the game in our hands, we created chances in the first minutes and the fans went directly behind the team, like they always do in those circumstances.
"I think it's a positive afternoon so early in the season."
Explaining his players rapid start to proceedings, Clement continued: "It's about working on things, it's about explaining things, and it's about doing things together.
"You see we start with two players who are just in the building but they understand the game and what you want to do.
"I saw a lot of positive things from our two new signings, so it's an important win."
Cerny was the eventual match winner, and Rangers' performance levels arguably dropped when the the Czech star was withdrawn on 57 minutes.
On the wingers impressive showing for the club, the Rangers boss emphasised the reason why he brought the player into his dressing room.
He explained: "That's why we got him here, that was the idea to strengthen the squad and to get players in with quality and experience next to our young boys, who also did a really good game like Connor Barron, for example, playing a good games in midfield.
"You see more and more that we are trying to create. The second half we should've scored the third goal and then you kill the belief of the opponent and then it's a different end to the game.
"But we didn't give away much or Jack didn't have to make too many saves, well, almost nothing. So, it's a positive afternoon for sure in between two European games."
