Both Genoa and Southampton are gearing up to make their moves for Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski, according to reports.
The 25-year-old forward, who arrived at Pittodrie from MTK Budapest under Jim Goodwin in summer 2022, has caught the attention of several clubs across the continent following an impressive season last time out, where he scored 26 goals despite Aberdeen's on-field struggles during large spells of the campaign.
Recently, newly-promoted Spanish side Espanyol kicked off the bidding process with an offer reported to be around £3million. However, this proposal was swiftly rejected by Aberdeen, who value Miovski at around £6.5m.
The Dons are clearly holding out for a more substantial offer for their star player - and the Daily Mail claim Genoa of Serie A plus Southampton in the English Premier League could further test Aberdeen's resolve over the coming weeks.
Miovski, an international for North Macedonia, is eager to showcase his talents in one of Europe's top five leagues.
He made his first start of the season as Aberdeen kicked off their Scottish Premiership campaign under new manager Jimmy Thelin on Monday night, securing a 2-1 victory against St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park.

As the transfer window continues until August 30, all eyes will be on Miovski as clubs vie for his signature.
Discussing Miovski's future after securing an impressive three points in Perth, the Aberdeen boss revealed that the forward has always been focused on performing well for his current club and until something changes on the transfer front, he expects him to continue to do so.
“He has been ready all the time,” Thelin said. “But we also try to prepare the whole team and we don’t have any friendly games. We had the cup games, Ester (Sokler) and Pete (Ambrose) were doing well and I know what Bojan can do.
“He has been sharp in training, he’s been mentally here. For the first cup game we took him out because it was a lot (of speculation) but since then he’s been really, really focused and a lot of positive energy in the locker room and on the training pitch.
“He showed he’s here in his head and doing really well for Aberdeen. He’s giving 100 per cent and he’s a really good player. Right now he is an Aberdeen player and we focus on that and we take training day by day.”
