Former Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is at the centre of a bizarre stand-off after Santos announced they had loaned him to Colombian club Athletico Nacional...only for his agent to deny it.
The ex-Ibrox striker spent seven years in Glasgow, but was allowed to leave last summer for nothing after falling out of form towards the end of his time in Scottish football.
His move to Pele's old club in Brazil has been an unmitigated disaster and he can't get a game for the club who are now playing in the second tier.
He hasn't played since the start of last month.
Santos agreed to allow Morelos to return to his homeland with Medellin club Athletico Nacional beating off competition from other Colombian clubs Atletico Junior and America de Cali to sign him on loan.

The club confirmed that Morelos would join Nacional on loan until the end of the year.
However, the player's agent, Martin Camano, denied the deal had gone through.
He stated: "We are still negotiating with both clubs and Alfredo himself. Nothing is confirmed."
Nacional have reportedly agreed to pay around 20 per cent of Morelos' wages, but Santos are believed to want more of a salary share for their flop striker.
Morelos left Colombia in 2016 when he moved from Independiente to HJK Helsinki. before joining Rangers in 2017.
He scored 124 goals in 269 games for Rangers before finally clinching a return to South America last year.
And the 28-year-old, who left Rangers after 178 league appearances, where he scored 78 league goals and 124 in all competitions during a six-year spell, will finally seal a return home.
