Ryan Porteous has been banned for two matches after his red card for Scotland against Germany.

The centre-back was shown a straight red card after a VAR review for a challenge on Ilkay Gundogan.

Porteous was sent off by referee Clement Turpin with a penalty awarded to Germany for the rash challenge.

A UEFA disciplinary body has ruled Porteous should be banned for two matches due to "serious rough play".

Should Scotland exit the tournament at the group stage then it would mean Porteous' tournament is over.
