Thousands of Scotland fans descending on Munich's Allianz Arena will have to pay through the nose if they want even a soft drink.

Steve Clarke's Scotland will face Germany in the opening game of Euro 2024 on Friday with 75,000 people attending.

Unlike in Scotland, fans will be able to enjoy a beer during the game with tournament sponsor Bitburger the only brand on offer. Attendees will have to fork out €7 for 500ml of beer, a little less than the standard UK pint.

But it's the soft drink prices that really turn the head. Coke, Fanta, Sprite, Lilt, and Monster are available in 500ml volumes at the hefty price of €6.

Prices were showing in the stadium as it geared up for the opening game of Euro 2024.
