Philippe Clement has admitted Rangers face a nervy wait to discover the severity of Abdallah Sima's injury.
The winger was forced off against Hearts in the Scottish Cup semi-final after just 15 minutes.
Sima - on loan from Brighton - left the field of his own strength but was contending with a suspected hamstring issue.
Quizzed on the injury to Sima, Clement said: "I don’t know yet. We will make that assessment tomorrow or the day after.
"I hope it’s not too bad but the doctor didn’t speak to me about that.
"I know from experience you can’t make that assessment now so it will be tomorrow or the day after."

While Clement could not offer any positive news on Sima, he did push aside concerns of an injury to Rabbi Matondo.
On Premier Sports the Ibrox boss was asked whether the change to bring Matondo off for Fabio Silva was an injury issue, but he insisted it was a tactical tweak.
He said: "That was tactical. At that moment I thought it was necessary to make the change.
"Sima we are going to see, he felt some tightness in his hamstring."
On setting up a Scottish Cup final showdown against Celtic, Clement added: "Everybody is really excited. I hear it’s been 22 years since the last Scottish Cup final with the Old Firm.
"So I think there will be a big rush for tickets and for people to do a lot to be at that game."
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
