Rangers midfielder Kieran Dowell was delighted to make his long-awaited injury return during Sunday's 3-3 draw with Celtic.
Dowell, 26, had been sidelined since early January but is now back fit and ready to aid Rangers' Scottish Premiership title chances.
He played the final 12 minutes of the latest derby clash, which left him in awe at the noisy Ibrox atmosphere, and claimed the Rangers squad are well-aware that the need to win every remaining game if they want to be crowned champions.
He said: “Class. Great game to come back into, it was really enjoyable. The atmosphere was unbelievable, probably the loudest I’ve heard the stadium in my career so it was a really good one to come back into.
“We just focus on winning every game we can. It’s just the way this league’s gone this season. We’re probably going to have to be close to maximum points to win the league.”

Philippe Clement's team have already secured the Viaplay Cup, housed in the Ibrox trophy room. Plus, a victory against Dundee on Wednesday night would propel them past Celtic to the summit of the league standings. They also have a Scottish Cup semi-final against Hearts at Hampden Park scheduled for later this month.
The incentive for a Treble is there, and Dowell admits he's chomping at the bit to help them achieve it.
“I did it in La Manga (Spanish training camp)," he confessed. "It was a bit unfortunate really the way I went over. The recovery was pretty smooth, it went really well and it’s good to be back now.
“Hopefully, I can contribute a bit more towards the end of the season. I’d say I'm close to 100 per cent (fit). Obviously, I haven’t ticked off that 90-minute match which is impossible to do in training but I feel really good.
“Personally, it has been frustrating. I’ve had to stay positive a lot of the time. The lads have done really well since my recent injury so that’s been good to be supporting them and I’m in a good place towards the end of the season.
“Hopefully, I can show the best of me this season. I feel good, I feel fit so hopefully have a good end to the season.
“You don’t realise how much you actually miss it when you are injured so I’m chomping at the bit now to make an impression.”
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
