Brendan Rodgers insists the only reason Celtic are not top of the pile in the Premiership is because of themselves.
Last weekend a 1-1 draw at home to Kilmarnock proved to be hugely damaging as Philippe Clement's side took full advantage the following day.
Rangers sit two points clear of the champions at the summit of the league table.
Second is not a position Celtic fans have been accustomed to over the past ten years or so.
And Rodgers is adamant that the title is very much still in the Hoops' hands, despite relinquishing a seven-point lead in recent months.
He said: "It's getting back to making sure we focus on ourselves because we can't control anything that Rangers any other team does. I've said it all season we can only focus on our own team performance.
"We're not top of the league because of ourselves and the points we've dropped but we have to learn from that and be focused on our own performance.
"That's what the next 12 games will be because it's still in our hands what it is we achieve this season so we have to focus on that.
"We've had eight wins and two draws which probably feels like eight losses and two draws. There's still been a lot of good in the games it's just when the result disappoints and the performance disappoints, then it doesn't give you a good feeling."

Meanwhile, Joe Hart has been hailed as a £1m 'bargain' for Celtic.
The 36-year-old yesterday announced that he will call time on his career at the end of the season.
The ex-England No.1 will end his time between the sticks after three years in Glasgow at the end of the campaign.
And Celts great Pat Bonner reckons replacing him will be a very difficult task.
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
