Todd Cantwell has continued the trend of Rangers management and players suggesting there has been a physical problem this season.
The comments came after the 2-1 win over Sparta Prague where the English attacker scored Rangers second goal.
New manager Philippe Clement has insisted the players must step up their physical conditioning and implemented individual training plans to raise levels. And Cantwell admits the team is now feeling the benefit of their new boss's demands.
He told TNT Sports: "It is great to get my first goal of the season as it has been coming for a while.
"We are starting to feel good and starting to feel fitter and the manager is implementing what he wants from us.

"I think the group was very tight in the game and it is very enjoyable to get the three points."
The midfielder also opened up on his connection with team-mate Danilo and the importance of carrying out the manager's plan.
"Danny [Danilo] and I had that football relationship straight away, we understand what we want from each other," he continued.
"The manager said it was important that we set traps for them [Sparta Prague] so it is important to have people like Abdallah Sima and Danny to stretch teams in behind as it creates space, and we can go at second balls.
"I think if we have other ways to get at teams then we will be in a good place."
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
