Sam Lammers is confident he can fire Rangers to silverware success this season after spending last term fighting for survival in Serie A.
The Dutchman completed a £3million switch to Ibrox from Atalanta last month as he joined a squad that is being overhauled by boss Michael Beale ahead of the new campaign.
Lammers scored just two league goals during frustrating loan stints with Empoli and a Sampdoria side that eventually finished well adrift at the foot of the standings.
That record naturally caught the attentions of some supporters when Beale sanctioned a deal and he put pen-to-paper on a four-year contract at Ibrox.

But the 26-year-old has no doubt that he will hit the goal trail for a Rangers side that will dominate most domestic encounters and that have titles and trophies in their sights.
Lammers said: "As a striker, you want to score more goals than I did last season and have a better record. I think you can really have an opinion on that if you see the matches that I have played.
"A lot of matches last season were not easy. We played in the lower regions of Italy, not a lot of possession, a lot of hard work to keep the ball, long balls.
"I think if you see the real chances I got last season, there were not many. This is, of course, not only the fact that it is difficult for the club. I can also blame myself for this.
"This is a big factor. At a team like Rangers, you should be the better team almost every week and I should get more chances to score goals.
"He (Beale) has spoken to me about [the pressure]. I have played my whole youth at PSV, I played in the first team of PSV.
"I have also played in loads of teams who win a lot of matches so it is not as if I am not used to it. I think it is a good pressure for me.
"Of course, last season I played to stay in the league at both clubs in Italy where I played.

"Now it is going to be every game you should win to win the league. To play for the prizes, this is why you are a football player and also a reason to come here.
"This is why you play football, to win matches. Last season we had to look down a lot. Now I can play for the top places. This is what I am excited about."
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
