Angus Gunn 6
Remained alert throughout and was quick off his line to clear on ocassion. Comfortable saves from Sorloth and Solbakken. No chance of stopping Haaland's spot-kick.
Aaron Hickey 7
Survived a Norwegian onslaught around 15 minutes and grew into the match. Keen to burst forward in the energy-sapping heat and solid defensively.
Ryan Porteous 6
Put his body on the line all evening and matched up with Haaland well for large spells. Switched off to give away penalty, albeit the Norwegian striker did look to go down slightly easily.
Jack Hendry 7
Walked a tightrope after caution for foul on Haaland in first half then escaped close penalty call. Numerous crucial blocks as Norway heaped pressure on.
Kieran Tierney 6
Typical battling performance from the Arsenal defender. Comfortable for much of his defensive suties before hobbling off. Booked for dissent after questionable decision.
Andrew Robertson 8
A standout performer in the Scotland ranks. Terrific driving runs forward throughout and countless inviting deliveries. Played on after nasty ankle knock.
Callum McGregor 6
An altered role in midfield, ususally dictating play the Celtic captain was far more defensively oriented in Oslo. Maintained composure in midfield.

Scott McTominay 7
Looked dead on his feet after putting in a real shift for the full 90-plus minutes. Famed for goalscoring heroics in opening matches - this gritty showing was every bit as important.
John McGinn 7
A vital cog in Steve Clarke's Scotland machine. Determined, never-say-die showing was microcosm of final result. Played pass for Dykes leveller and kept attack alive for McLean to complete remarkable turnaround.
Ryan Christie 7
Not afforded the time, space or possession to hurt the opposition. A tireless runner in the press and was clever with the ball when he did have it.
Lyndon Dykes 7
More than up for the rough and tumble with physcial Norway defence. Largely starved of any service but pounced in key moment to equalise after horror defensive mistake then teed up McLean winner.
Liam Cooper (for Tierney, 65) 4
Slotted into defence, quickly bundled over by Haaland then matched pace of game.
Billy Gilmour (for McGregor, 78) 5
Offered some extra bite and spark after his introduction.
Stuart Armstong (for Christie, 78) 4
Played his part as Scotland rose from dead to claim huge victory.
Kenny McLean (for Porteous, 78) 6
Kept a cool head to slot home unthinkable winner after Scotland turnaround.
Dominic Hyam (for McGinn, 90) N/A
On for stoppage time.
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
