Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has issued an injury update on the condition of Kyogo Furuhashi ahead of Saturday's Scottish Cup final against Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
The 28-year-old striker picked up a knock in Celtic's 5-0 win against Aberdeen on Trophy Day, with Postecoglou admitting that he has been unable to properly train with the group, but will do so tomorrow to see how he fares.
Kyogo has scored 33 goals this season in all competitions, with the striker being a mainstay in Postecoglou's Celtic side as they retained their Scottish Premiership title, as well as the League Cup. The team are aiming for a world record-breaking eighth domestic treble when they take on Inverness at Hampden this weekend.
If Kyogo is unavailable, Celtic will look to turn to Hyeon-gyu Oh to fill his shoes by leading the line for the side. He comes into the game in good form, having scored three goals in his last two appearances, including a double against Aberdeen last Saturday.
Providing a fitness update on Kyogo and the wider Celtic squad, Postecoglou said: “Kyogo is progressing. He hasn’t trained yet. The plan is to get him out there tomorrow (Friday) and see how he goes. He is doing some individual stuff this afternoon.
“He always is, but he is still pretty bullish about playing so we will just see how he goes.
“(Alistair) Johnston is fine, he has trained all week and (Sead) Haksabanovic is back in so he is available as well. The only real absence is Aaron Mooy.”

Meanwhile, Ange Postecoglou has insisted speculation linking him with a move to Tottenham "doesn't register".
The Celtic boss has been tipped to make the switch to North London after the Scottish Cup final this weekend.
And reports on Thursday claim Celtic chiefs have already started the search for his successor.
However, the manager pushed back when quizzed on the Spurs links as he stated his full focus remains on the Hampden showdown with Inverness.
"Somebody else was favourite last week. It doesn't register," said Postecoglou of the reported Spurs interest.
"I get all the interest and why people love to speculate on these things. We have worked really, really hard to get ourselves into this position.
"For me, to let my mind wonder to anything else other than getting our team prepared for a big day on Saturday is just not who I am.
"You make it sound like it is the first time it has happened to me. We've done this dance a few times this year. The players are well aware of where my thoughts lie.

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
