Rangers will not give Celtic a guard of honour ahead of tomorrow's derby clash.
The Light Blues host Ange Postecoglou's side at Ibrox tomorrow lunchtime in the sixth and final fixture between the teams this season.
The Hoops will arrive in Govan already as Premiership champions having clinched their 53rd league title last week with a victory over Hearts.
However, Michael Beale has confirmed that there will be no guard of honour from his players for their Celtic counterparts as they enter the pitch come kick-off tomorrow.
The Englishman claims it wouldn't be the right thing to do.
He told Sky Sports: "In the past it's been turned down and that has to be done I don't think they would want us to and in the stadium in front of our fans, I don't think it would be the right thing to do either.
"We have a lot of respect for them, they've clearly been the best team in the league, but it's been dealt with in the past and that takes it out of my hands thankfully."

The Rangers gaffer has also provided an injury update on his squad heading into the crunch match.
Ben Davies and Ryan Kent will be missing for the Light Blues, but Ryan Jack does come back into contention.
Beale insists there's no issue with Alfredo Morelos, and that he is likely to feature at some stage of the game.
He said: "Ben (Davies) misses out. Ryan (Kent) has not returned to training as still has an issue. Jack comes back in which is great.
"Alfredo is available for selection, our relationship is honest and there are no issues there.
"Alfredo is robust, I feel he could have made a more positive impact last week but we are fine - no drama and he has been great in training this week.
"He is keen to keep showcasing what he can do in his time at Rangers.
"I know these players well, each individual situation is different and all the conversations on the future have been had in private. The way we speak is open and honest with all the players."
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
