Ange Postecoglou delivered a festive response as he was quizzed over a possible transfer for Tomoki Iwata.
The Yokohama F. Marinos midfielder has been linked with a move to Parkhead in recent days with the January window just over a week away.
Iwata would add to Posteocoglou's midfield options and when quizzed on the J-League star he responded: "We’ll see what Santa brings."
Celtic have already added two new players to their squad ahead of the window opening in the shape of defenders Alistair Johnston and Yuki Kobayashi.
Meanwhile, Postecoglou hailed his side as they eased to victory over St Johnstone today.
He said: "Yeah, really pleased. Firstly, glad we're sending our supporters home happy to enjoy Christmas Day tomorrow with their families, hopefully everyone has a happy and safe one.
"But yeah really, really pleased with the lads. I thought were really good today. From the start controlled the game, we looked dangerous all the time. We scored four but could have had a few more with a bit of luck. Credit to the boys I thought it was a good performance.
"With Jimmy [James Forrest] and Daizen coming in and Aaron [Mooy]... I think it was important to freshen it up a little bit because it is such a quick turnaround. Coming off a long break, having three games within a short space of time was always going to test us.
"I guess the luxury for me is that I have quality players that I can bring in. I thought it was important we used them today and I thought they all really contributed."

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
