Allan McGregor is not part of the Rangers squad to take on Ross County due to illness.

Michael Beale confirmed the goalkeeper is missing the match after reporting to training sick.

A sickness bug is said to have "gone through" the Ibrox squad, Beale said ahead of kick-off in Dingwall.

Jon McLaughlin comes into the Rangers line-up with McGregor out, while Robby McCrorie makes the bench.

Explaining McGregor's absence to Rangers TV, Beale said: "Allan came in and was sick. He has fallen foul of a sickness bug which has gone through the squad a little bit.

"We've lost Allan but Jon comes in with our full trust and confidence and Robby backing him up."

Beale also made three further changes to the Rangers team with Ben Davies, Scott Arfield and John Lundstram all starting in the Highlands.

He added: "In terms of the rest of the team; Scotty deserved his chance to have a go, Ben is now ready to start so it's positive in that sense.

"I'm looking forward to a really positive performance tonight, on the front foot from the off."

RANGERS XI: McLaughlin, Tavernier, Goldson, Davies, Devine, Kamara, Lundstram, Arfield, Tillman, Kent, Fashion Jr.

Subs: McCrorie, Jack, Matondo, Sands, Morelos, Wright, McCann, King, Lowry.
