Hearts learn Europa League play-off opponents as FC Zurich thrash Linfield
HEARTS will play FC Zurich for a spot in the Europa League group stage.
Robbie Neilson's side enter qualifying in the play-off round just two-matches from the groups.
And they now know it's Swiss side FC Zurich which stand between them and progress into the competition proper.
Zurich thumped Linfield 5-0 in the third qualifying round to set up a clash with Hearts.
Hearts will first travel to Switzerland for the first-leg on August 18 before returning to Tynecastle on August 25.
The winner of the tie will progress to the Europa League group stage.
But there's good news for both sides in the fact that the losers will drop into the Europa Conference League group stage.
