THE SPFL has today announced the dates and kick-off times for next month’s cinch Premiership play-offs, with all six matches selected for live TV coverage.
BBC Scotland will show the quarter-finals on Tuesday May 3 and Friday May 6, followed by the semi-finals on Tuesday May 10 and Friday May 13.
The final, which marks the conclusion of the 2021/22 season, will be live on Sky Sports on Friday May 20 and Monday May 23. Highlights of both legs of the final will be shown on BBC Scotland.
The cinch Championship and cinch League 1 play-offs are due to begin in the midweek of May 3/4 and full details will be confirmed shortly. The cinch League 2 (Pyramid) play-off final is scheduled for Saturday May 7 & 14.
SPFL Chief Executive Neil Doncaster said: “We know there is always huge interest surrounding the play-offs and we are delighted that all six cinch Premiership play-off games will be shown live by our broadcast partners Sky Sports and BBC Scotland.
“There is so much to play for across all four divisions in the weeks ahead and we look forward to an exciting conclusion to the season next month.”
Meanwhile, SPFL clubs have voted to allow up to five substitutes (plus a sixth in extra time) in the play-offs, from nine listed on the teamsheet, to mirror the position in league matches.

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
