BATON-wielding Danish police officers arrested four people after 'violence' before and after the Europa League match between Brondby and Rangers.
The West Copenhagen Police force report four arrests have been made over fan incidents outside the Brondby Stadium in Brondbyvester last night.
The police claim that before the match a group of Rangers fans without tickets tried to enter the stadium, causing a "commotion".
They say officers "had to pull and use poles" after the alleged incident outside the away entrance to the football ground.
Danish police then report that there were numerous incidents after the match where "rioters tried to get over to the opponent's fans". They say police prevented any clashes.
But four arrests have been reported in connection with alleged violence or violence against the police last night.
A West Copenhagen Police statement reads: "Copenhagen's Vestegns Politi has in collaboration with a number of other police districts been massively present at Brøndby Stadion today both before, during and after the Europa League match between Brøndby IF and Glasgow Rangers.
"In connection with the match, there have been a few episodes between football fans and the police.

"Before the match, a group of Rangers fans tried to enter Brøndby Stadion, even though they had not regulated a ticket.
"It caused less commotion at the entrance to the away section of the stadium and the police had to pull and use poles.
"After the match, there were a few episodes where rioters tried to get over to the opponent's fans, which was prevented by the police.
"A total of four people were arrested in connection with the fight.
"They are charged with ordinary violence or violence against the police.
"As several of them are non-EU citizens, the prosecution is now assessing whether there should be a production in constitutional interrogation."
Rangers battled back to take a point in the Eurropa League showdown in Denmark.
Sub Ianis Hagi hit an equaliser in the second-half to cancel out Leon Balogun's own goal before the break.
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
