"Barkas is settling in very well, Ajeti has scored three goals already with limited time on the pitch. We've still got David Turnbull, he's made his debut, to get his first start, we're delighted with that signing too. And then there's Elyounoussi.”
"We've brought in real quality and as time goes by we'll see that manifest itself as we go along.
"It's a different market and not a lot of business being done so in that aspect in terms of bringing players in, like all dealings they're protracted at times but in terms of attracting players here it's been good." (Daily Record)
Edouard is not distracted by transfer talk
Neil Lennon has stated that Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard is not distracted by transfer talk. “Odsonne is fine. He is a 22-year-old player and sometimes we expect a lot of him because he’s a mercurial talent. I don’t think he’s playing badly, probably not at the level he was when we came to the lockdown. But I’m pretty confident that will come.” (The Sun)
McGregor should be Rangers number one
Barry Ferguson has said that he believes Allan McGregor should be the Rangers number one but competition from goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin has been brilliant. He wrote in the Record: "For me, it would be Allan McGregor. I must stress that’s not an old pals’ act because I played with him and neither is it any disrespect to Jon McLaughlin. But you’ve got to go with the best goalkeeper and for me that’s Allan McGregor." (Daily Record)

Celtic to the British Premier League?
Neil Lennon says that joining a British Premier League would make Celtic a "megaclub", and believes that majority shareholder Dermot Desmond could be the man to finally make such a move happen. Lennon said: “It’s always been rebuffed, but you just don’t know what the landscape for football is going to be like if and when this pandemic dissipates. Again, Dermot is very high and has really good contacts, be it football associations or football clubs. He has his finger on the pulse and he always wants what is best for the club. (The Herald)

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
