Michael Stewart will not appear on BBC Sportsound this evening despite making his comeback last weekend.
The pundit was scheduled to appear on the radio show after patching things up with the corporation following his rant aimed at Rangers' PR chief Jim Traynor.

However, despite his return on Sportscene last Saturday, the former Hearts and Hibs midfielder took to social media to explain how a "change of plan" will keep him off the broadcast this evening.
He said: "Unfortunately due to a change of plan I won’t be on Sportsound tonight to talk about the huge weekend of Scottish Cup football we’ve just had." Mystery surrounding Stewart's omission from the radio show comes as the Gers row rumbles on.

It is not yet known whether or not Stewart will also be missing from BBC's coverage of midweek action.
Stewart was suspended indefinitely by the BBC after accusing Traynor of leaking stories to the press regarding striker Alfredo Morelos and casting doubt on accusations of alleged racist abuse received by the player in a Sky Sports interview.
He launched into a scathing tirade about Traynor, causing BBC's Kenny McIntyre to apologise live on air and the broadcaster keeping Stewart off the airwaves.

We told last week how Stewart's suspension was lifted by the Beeb after positive discussions where the former footballer agreed to code of conduct. A statement released by BBC Scotland said: "Following Sportsound on Monday, February 3 we have clearly explained the BBC editorial guidelines around fairness and accuracy to Michael Stewart.
"We expect our pundits to be forthright, but fair. Michael agrees with this. On that basis, Michael is now available for selection for Sportscene and Sportsound."
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
