RANGERS full-back Jon Flanagan has undergone surgery and will be out of the first team for the near future, according to reports.
The Daily Mail are reporting that Flanagan, 26, received a hernia operation on Monday after the Old Firm derby at Ibrox the day before.
This is the second time that Flanagan has had hernia surgery this season, after previously sitting out Rangers' Europa League qualifier against St Joseph's at the beginning of the campaign.

On that occasion, Flanagan was ruled out for three weeks but is currently unclear how long the former Liverpool defender will be out for after his most recent operation.
