RANGERS defender Borna Barisic has warned Celtic their Ibrox defeat means nothing, despite slumping to a limp loss in the first Old Firm battle of the season.
The left back is with the Croatia squad for their Euro 2020 double-header away to Slovakia and Azerbaijan.
He was only on the bench for Sunday's 2-0 defeat after suffering a head knock in Rangers' 1-0 Europa League play-off win against Legia Warsaw.
And he insists there's nothing beKris Ajer doubtful for Celtic's opening Europa League clash with Rennestween the teams despite Celtic's impressive victory.

He said: "The Celtic defeat was only one game - it doesn't change anything.
"We had started the season really well. We got through all our matches in Europe and were thrilled to get to the Group Stages. We also won all our matches in the league. We were playing really well, everyone was happy, but then we lost to Celtic.
"But no one can say they outplayed us in the game. They got the second goal when we were attacking to try and get an equaliser.
"This year we are very much going for the title."
And Barisic has one wish for the rest of the season that's unlikely to be granted...he'd love to see manager Steven Gerrard back playing!
He said: "Whenever he trains with us, he's great. It would take him about a month to be fit again, but he would be really dangerous.
"Every cross he puts in is quality.
"I had some problems with him because of my injury with Croatia, but that is behind us now. I will always be concentrating on Rangers first and it will be that way for as long as I play with them."
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
