RYAN Kent has thanked the Rangers fans for helping him make the most of his time at Ibrox this term.
The winger moved north of the border last summer as he was reunited with former Liverpool mentor Steven Gerrard.
And he has made the most of his chance to play under the Anfield legend as he has turned in a series of impressive performances in Scotland and on the continent as Gerrard’s side reached the Europa League group stages.
Kent has had loan spells with Coventry City, Barnsley, Freiburg and Bristol City in recent years as he looks to make his name in the game.
But it is at Ibrox where he has really come to prominence and gone from strength to strength as he has saw his reputation rise.

Boss Gerrard is keen to keep Kent as part of his Light Blues ranks next term but Rangers could be priced out of a deal if Liverpool decide to cash in during the close season.
The final five fixtures in the Premiership could prove to be Kent’s last for Rangers.
And the 22-year-old will always be grateful for the backing and support he has received on and off the park after picking up the Young Player of the Year prize on Sunday evening.
He told RangersTV: “It means an awful lot to me, especially after the season I had last year which was quite a difficult season and I didn’t really get much out of it.
“So to come into this year and sort of revive my early career means an awful lot.
“A special mention has got to go out to all the fans and especially those who voted.
“The fans have been massively important to me settling here, they have given me a lot confidence in my games, especially to be able to go and express myself going into every game.
“Going into every game I have been really positive and hopefully I have raised some bums off seats with my style of play.
“I was hoping I would make an impact here going into the season, I am always optimistic.
“But I think it has gone better than I probably thought it would but I would have liked to have achieved more, domestically in the league winning trophies. On a personal level though I think it has been a good season for me.”
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
