SCOTT BAIN Booed every time he touched the ball by a section of the home support, although that wasn’t all too often. Did make one really good block when Wright burst through one on one, spreading his body well to save. Spectator in the second half. 6
JEREMY TOLJAN Saw lots of the ball in attacking areas without doing a great deal with it. Sacrificed late on for Timothy Weah as Neil Lennon tried to win the game. 5
MIKAEL LUSTIG In at centre-half in place of the injured Dedryck Boyata and looked a little uncomfortable at times before being moved back to the right during the second half. 5

KRISTOFFER AJER Spent a lot of time playing out from the back and passing was generally decent, but was posted missing as Wright ran through the heart of the Celtic defence just before the interval. Picked up an injury and was replaced by Benkovic. 5
KIERAN TIERNEY Still working his way back to full sharpness after his extended spell out through injury and showed one or two signs of rustiness in his play. Solid enough. 6
SCOTT BROWN Saw enough of the ball and had a decent midfield contest with Martin Woods, but while his use of the ball was generally good, this was the sort of game that was crying out for the sort of creativity from the middle of the park that isn’t really Brown’s remit. 6
CALLUM MCGREGOR Returned to the Celtic team for the first time since the loss to Valencia in Spain in February and showed one or two signs of ring-rustiness. Wasn’t able to produce the spark he so often does for Celtic. 6
MIKEY JOHNSTON Deployed in behind Edouard and the youngster did ok, showing good feet at times without really having all that huge an influence on the game. Hooked just before the hour for Hayes. 6
JAMES FORREST Uncharacteristically out of sorts early on, blazing a good opportunity over from inside the area and misplacing one or two passes, but connected sweetly with a volley to signal he was getting his eye in. Came up trumps right at the death as his cross allowed Edouard to fire home and sicked Dundee. 7
SCOTT SINCLAIR Went down under Horsfield’s challenge in the box only to be denied a penalty early on, but winger was lively and was only denied opener by two good Dieng saves. Had another curling effort deflected just wide after the break too, but faded from the game hugely after that. 6
ODSONNE EDOUARD Didn’t have a great deal of joy up against the massed ranks of the Dundee defence, but to be fair, the striker was starved of service. Cut the most frustrated figure on the park until the 96th minute, as he pounced to fire home the winner. 7
