RANGERS striker Alfredo Morelos has escaped punishment for three incidents in the Ladbrokes Premiership game against Celtic at Ibrox on Saturday.

Morelos was seen to kick out at visiting captain Scott Brown early on in a match the home team won 1-0 thanks to a first-half goal from Ryan Jack.

He then appeared to stamp on Anthony Ralston and grab Ryan Christie in the second-half of the league game.

However, the Colombian, whose time in Scotland has been blighted by disciplinary issues, won’t face retrospective punishment because all three incidents were spotted at the time by referee John Beaton.

The SFA compliance officer can only consider raising a fast track notice of complaint when an incident hasn’t been seen by any of the three match officials at the game. So no retrospective action could be taken.
