LEE WALLACE admits Graeme Murty has brought a buzz back to Rangers after stepping into the Ibrox hotseat.
Murty was asked to return to the first team fold last month as Pedro Caixinha paid the price for a poor start to the campaign and was sacked following the draw at home to Kilmarnock.
The Under-20s boss has two wins from two to his credit after leading the Gers to much-needed Premiership victories over Hearts and Partick Thistle.

He will continue to take control of the Light Blues while the search for Caixinha’s replacement is ongoing at Ibrox.
Wallace said: “The players have got a good feeling in and around the training ground, we prepared well for the Hearts game considering everything that went on.
“We managed to get a good performance and a good result at Murrayfield that was then followed up with the win over Partick Thistle.
“It’s hugely enjoyable to work under Murty, the circumstances have dictated how he has taken the role on which is similar to the last time, but he has stepped in and been ever so professional.
“I would go down occasionally and ask and see how well the Development Squad were doing and we would speak about different things.
“There has always been that dialogue there between us but now he is back in charge I think everybody is enjoying it. It is obviously new to a lot of the people that didn’t experience him last season but it is great and everybody is buzzing.”

Wallace has been forced to watch on in recent times as Caixinha struggled in his final weeks at Ibrox and Murty returned to the dugout.
The left-back picked up a groin strain against Partick Thistle in September and is making good progress as he looks to get back on the park.
He said: “I am probably just past the halfway stage in my recovery, when I went to Manchester a couple of weeks ago we ear marked that as being the halfway stage. I got positive feedback when I went down the road and I spoke to the experts and got the right advice.
“I came back up here and day to day we are going to try to work as hard as we can so I can get myself in good enough shape to be ready for the squad.”
Wallace will continue his recovery during the international break as Murty turns his attentions to the visit of Hamilton.

But midfielder Ryan Jack has the friendly with Holland to look forward to tonight.
Wallace told RangersTV: “Ryan has stepped in really well and performed in that position in central midfield, he has been very good since he arrived and I have enjoyed working alongside him. He has been working hard and he has taken to being a Rangers player very quickly so congratulations to him on the call-up.
“First and foremost for me it is all about Rangers for me and if I can get back and get to a strong level, the level I want to be at then hopefully I can get back into the team here and after that anything is a bonus.”
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
