Kilmarnock manager Gary Locke wants his players to show their recent improvement when they face Dundee - but denies they have anything to prove at Dens Park.
Killie started their season with a 4-0 defeat by Paul Hartley's side at Rugby Park but have turned their form around, taking 10 points from their last five Ladbrokes Premiership games.
Ahead of their second meeting of the season against Dundee, Locke said: "It's a chance to improve because certainly we couldn't play any worse.
"And to be fair, credit to Dundee on the day, they were outstanding. It was as good a performance as I've seen from any team playing against us this season, but we were really, really poor.
"But that's a wee while ago now. Hopefully we have learned from that and we can go up there and put in a better performance than we did against them the first time.
"I don't think it's a case of proving people wrong. We have played well the last six or seven games, although we maybe should have got another better couple of results.
"We just want to go up here and try to maintain that bit of momentum we have got, at a difficult place against a very good team. If we can get a result then it keeps the run going."
