I GIVE Ken Sutherland (Letters, March 31) 10 out of 10 for dogged persistence in advocating use of the Glasgow City Union Line. This basic rail route and its river bridge crossing might just be a glimmer in the eye of planners for use in connection with the high-speed rail link between Edinburgh and Glasgow bandied about for some time or indeed earmarked for HS2 services from the south to terminate at a new Glasgow station around the Old College lands near High Street.
