Delivering a hit to the environment
MANY of us are concerned with the rising level of pollution especially the increase in the number of diesel vehicles delivering online mail orders.
Recently my wife ordered from a business near Pitlochry. The distribution company tasked with the delivery took the small package to the Gretna depot for onward delivery.
Instead of 59 miles to our home, the package travelled 265 miles to get here. Passing our door in the process.
The distribution companies need to look at how they deliver more effectively creating less pollution.

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
