I SYMPATHISE with Steve Brennan (Letters, February 28) regarding the London-centric coverage of the Scotland v Wales game on BBC TV. My recommendation to him and the many others finding themselves in the same boat is to take their sound coverage from Radio Scotland.

They have an excellent rugby commentary team, and the star for me is rugby coach and former Scotland internationalist, Peter Wright, a non-establishment figure if ever there was one. He delivers his trenchant comments with a degree of humour and self-deprecation and the occasional accidental swear word. How much more refreshing than John Inverdale and his ilk.
