BRIAN Beacom recounts the difficulty in staging the panto Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs because of a lack of dwarf actors (“A panto problem that can dwarf all others”, The Herald, October 9). But surely the solution is simple? You prevail upon Dr Who to go back in time and persuade the Brothers Grimm to rewrite the tale as Snow White and the Three Dwarfs.

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
