I LOOK forward to the old Glasgow Corporation winning the Turner Prize for its stunningly primitive yet charming installation at the Tramway, which in these post-modern times of course has no name. The tram tracks set into the bleak concrete floor and heading into the plain white walls are clearly a stunning metaphor for the frustration and exploitation of the working people of Glasgow – seeing their precious funds wasted on this ridiculous pretentious rubbish.

How many councillors will be mixing it with Grayson Perry and Tracy Emin at the Award dinner? Will the leader perhaps enjoy an ironic pie with the judges? And who will be the first clown to claim a Turner Legacy?
