I HAVE just returned from a very frustrating morning. I attempted to attend my cousin's funeral at Glasgow Crematorium, and being an out-of-towner allowed an hour for the journey. I should have doubled that at least, because despite being armed with maps and Google directions I found myself cruising round Summerton and Lambhill in a vain attempt to locate some sort of signpost to aid me. Alas, there were none. The time of the funeral came and went and I had no alternative but to return home frustrated and very cross.

Is it really too much to provide a signpost at some point?
