INCLUDED in East Renfrewshire's Doors Open Days (September 12 & 13) is a guided tour of Cathcart cemetery. Considering the present spoilated state of much of the cemetery grounds it would appear a questionable venue choice. Accepting that some may be interested in the historical and architectural aspects, there is greater concern and interest in having the fallen stones reinstated.
I would anticipate this particular conducted tour will produce more questions than answers, but not necessarily of an appreciative nature.

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
