A second series of the Channel 4 thriller Suspect is set to air soon, with Anne-Marie Duff leading the cast this time around.
The first series debuted back in 2022 which followed James Nesbitt's Danny Frater investigating the death of his daughter.
Each episode saw him speaking to an individual who knew her in order to uncover the truth about what happened.
Radio Times adds: "The series featured a host of major actors popping up for starring roles in individual episodes, with one of those featured being Anne-Marie Duff as Danny's ex-wife and the mother of his daughter, Susannah."
Duff will take over the lead role for the second series which will see her head on her own mission to find and stop a murderer.
The synopsis for the new season says: "Anne-Marie Duff leads the cast as Dr Susannah Newman, who is now on a desperate quest to find the truth about her daughter’s tragic death.
"When a mysterious new client Jon Fallow makes a disturbing confession under hypnosis, Susannah is forced to embark on her own deadly mission to save a life, the way she couldn’t do with her own daughter…"
Speaking about what audiences can expect with series 2, Duff said: "It’s definitely a continuation from series one.

When will Channel 4 Suspect series 2 be on TV?
The first episode of the second series of Suspect will air at 9pm on Channel 4 on Wednesday, July 17, with the second following immediately afterwards ar 9.30pm.
Episodes three and four will then air at 9pm and 9.30pm on Thursday, July 18 with the remaining episodes broadcasting in the same timeslots the next week.
Alternatively, all episodes are available to watch right now on Channel 4's on-demand service.
