Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver reveals when she'll return
Discussing her desire to return to Corrie, Sue Cleaver said in an interview with OK! magazine: "I’ve finished Sister Act but I’m missing everybody hugely.
"I had the most wonderful time doing that show – I hadn’t been on stage for 30 years.
"I just thought ‘I’m going to embrace this, I’m going to do it’. Even though I was scared and even though it was the unknown, I thought ‘nope, this is fabulous. Let’s just go for this’ and I did."
She added: "I had the most amazing time. We played to full houses everywhere and had standing ovations. I will miss everybody hugely but you’ve got to finish one thing to start the next thing.
"I definitely think I'll do more on stage. The stage is where I started.
"Theatre’s always been my first love. Now I’ve been back, that’s not going to be my last. But I’ll be heading back to Coronation Street soon.
"I'm having a little holiday and then I will be heading back into Corrie in July so they can see me back there. I will be back."

Sue Cleaver also recently opened up about her Type 2 diabetes diagnosis and revealed that she was scared by this at first.
The former I'm A Celebrity... star said: "I always say that I don't live with diabetes, diabetes lives with me. So I live my life as anyone else. I have a busy life and I get on with it."
She added: "When I was first diagnosed, it scared me. Then since I started using Dexcom, it took away all of the guessing, all of the unknown.
"I’ve always had my HbA1c and I’ve always been under a consultant and monitored everything, but it’s just taken a bit of pressure off. I can see what my averages are. I can see what my patterns are. It's taken away a lot of that worry for me."
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
