The Young Offenders will be back soon on our screens for a fourth series on the BBC, with Alex Murphy and Chris Walley returning once again to play lovable rogues Conor MacSweeney and Jock O'Keeffe.
The TV show followed the 2016 film with there having been three series so far, with the last one airing in 2020.
It follows the adventures of delinquents Conor and Jock in Cork as people around them try to keep them on the straight and narrow.
After a four-year gap between broadcasts, there will also be a time jump in the show of similar length.
A synopsis of the series on TVZone reads: "Conor (Alex Murphy) and Jock (Chris Walley) have grown older, but not wiser.
"A madcap trip sees them on the wrong side of the law, as they’re given a free holiday to Colombia. All they have to do is bring back two heavy parka coats to Ireland, what could possibly go wrong?"
"Meanwhile back home former Principal Walsh (P J Gallagher) has found himself in dire straits because of a disastrous split with his wine-loving wife, Orla (Orla Fitzgerald)."
As reported by What To Watch creator Peter Foot said: "Audiences have been asking for more of the journeys of these characters and we’re very excited to take the show in new directions for series 4 and can’t wait to bring it back to TV screens.”

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
