Legal aid crisis leaving domestic abuse survivors without lawyers
Four out of five Glasgow lawyers say they will no longer take on protective order cases—used to safeguard victims of domestic abuse and stalking—unless legal aid pay rates are increased. The Glasgow Bar Association warns this could have a significant impact on victims' access to justice.
