WORLD famous Scots actor Ewan McGregor has teased footage of his role reprisal of Star Wars' Obi-Wan Kenobi in a new Disney Plus preview.
The 50-year-old previously revealed that shooting has finished on his eagerly-awaited new Star Wars TV show, and on Friday a sneak preview was released on Disney Plus.
The trailer was shown on the streaming service in celebration of Disney Plus Day, and the first look shows a small glimpse of McGregor in his old Jedi robes through concept art for the new series.

In the preview, McGregor said: "There is a hunger for this character to come back.
"The fans have been waiting long enough."
However, fans will need to wait even longer, as the series is not due out until late 2022, and an official live action trailer showing McGregor in his old role is still to be released also.
He returned to the character after 16 years as Disney committted to a swathe of new Star Wars material set in the galaxy far, far away, following the success of The Mandalorian.
The 2022 series will see McGregor's Kenobi face off with Hayden Christensen's Darth Vader for the first time since 2005.
The concept art shows both characters fighting with the iconic Star Wars weapon, as well as showing unexplored areas of the universe.
McGregor added: "The most beautiful thing of all is that it has brought me back together with Hayden.
"To have another swing at each other with lightsabers might be quite satisfying for everybody.
"We hope you'll enjoy it as much as we did making it."

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
