TRNSMT Festival has revealed the first wave of acts on its lineup for 2025.

150,000 festival goers are expected to descend on Glasgow Green for the eighth edition of Scotland's biggest live music event, which takes place between Friday, July 11 and Sunday, July 13.

American rap icon 50 Cent will headline on the festival’s opening day, while legendary Scottish band Biffy Clyro headline Saturday before adopted homegrown heroes Snow Patrol close the festival on Sunday with a headline set. 

More acts performing across the weekend include The Script, Kneecap, Fontaines D.C, Underworld, Wet Leg, Gracie Abrams, Shed Seven and Nina Nesbitt.

Geoff Ellis, Festival Director of TRNSMT, said: “After a record-breaking sell-out in 2024, we can’t wait to have everyone back for the eighth year of incredible live music.

“We've worked hard to pull together an eclectic lineup including homegrown headliners and global icons, spanning a range of genres we know music fans of all ages will love.

“There are plenty more acts and festival experiences to be announced next year so, keep your eyes peeled.”

Fans can sign up for access to the TRNSMT presale before 9am on Thursday December 5 here.

Tickets will then be available on general sale from trnsmtfest.com from 9am on Friday December 6.
